Class 47 run-round at Holyhead

47 767 Saint Columba arrives at Bangor on time with 1D87 from London, which is booked for a RES 47 on Saturdays. The rest of the week it's a HST. 175 107 is about to depart for Crewe with the 12:28 service.

The loco has been detached and is running round the stock. The Wales and Borders class 158 unit will leave for Cardiff in mid afternoon.

47 767 has passed under the road bridge and is now running back past Holyhead signal box to be reunited with its stock.

The shunter couples the 47 to the Driving Van Trailer. At Crewe the diesel will be detached and 1A63 will be drived to Euston from the DVT with electric traction at the rear.
