Three weeks in the Western Isles, summer 2003

Day 1 20 Jun By train to Oban 8 miles cycling
Day 2 21 Jun Dolphins and a red squirrell  
Day 3 22 Jun Whisky Galore! 47 miles
Day 4 23 Jun Wind 35 miles
Day 5 24 Jun Over to Harris 25 miles
Day 6 25 Jun Sea cycle circle 32 miles
Day 7 26 Jun A dip in Loch Trolamaraig 31 miles
Day 8 27 Jun Older than Stonehenge 45 miles
Day 9 28 Jul Escape to Skye 51 miles
Day 10 29 Jun Another sunny Skye day 11 miles
Day 11 30 Jun A walk up the Quirang  
Day 12 1 Jul My front wheel explodes 34/47 miles
Day 13 2 Jul A visit to the bike shop  
Day 14 3 Jul Loch Ainort 32 miles
Day 15 4 Jul Back to the mainland 27 miles
Day 16 5 Jul A Walk to Glomach Falls  
Day 17 6 Jul We charter a boat 51 miles
Day 18/19 7/8 Jul Wet ride to Fort William, then train home 24 miles then 8 miles
